Our daughter wanted ABTs for her birthday. But they weren't done on the wok. Used the Performer SS for those.  :D

Made with chicken and apple sausage...

We were gonna make teriyaki chicken and our other daughter was going to make pancit. That's where the wok comes in.

I convinced my daughter to let me do it on the wok. The Weber wok is sitting on the kettle gasser, with a Music City Metals burner swapped in.

Garlic and onion ...

Green beans...

Chicken...

And cabbage...

Then the pancit noodles with a couple cans of chicken broth...

Plated bowled...

And the teriyaki chicken started...

And finished...

The wok was acquired in a trade with Duke. I let him have the 18" 'cado. I got the new old stock wok. I've been seasoning it, and this was the first big cook.

I love this thing.   8)

Dude, relax your chicken.

Great looking pancit.  It is a staple at any of my family gatherings, so I don't make it very often.

One thing to do so your noodles don't break into small piece is to soak the noodles in warm water until they are a little bit more than al dente.  My friends used to bug me for pancit and lumpia all the time, now that I have been doing bbq, they all bug me to bbq lol.

Yeah, it came out great. The wok is so big, I could move the veggies to the edge while the noodles soaked in the middle.

Tried potato chips the other day. Didn't quite get hot enough for a quick fry, but let them sit and they fried just fine. Think I'd have trouble with lumpia, but I'll keep experimenting.    8)

Great looking cook! You have inspired me to get off my ass, clean up my wok, and use it!

Don't think you will need much more learnin'.

Yup, clean it up and use it - that's what it's for     ;D

We had fajitas last night, so as the chicken was grillin' with the new Cowboy lump, and the griddle for tortillas was warming up on the Genesis, I was gonna grab a CI pan for the peppers and onions.

My wife said you can use the wok. Oh yeah, good idea - it's on the kettle gasser, so it fires right up.

I love that woman   8)

The pancit looks great Dazzo! I know a good one when I see it. ;)
