With a K

I had captured a 26 kettle.
http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/trading-post/do-i-or-do-i-not/msg31749/#msg31749
The leg sockets were coming off (temporarily riveted) and one leg was bent (temporarily reinforced with a PVC pipe driven into it). The front handle was scorched/melted. I didn't like the rivets, and designed the following. Kilted Griller (with a C) had gotten a preview in Vista, but here are pics with the diamond plate tabletop installed. It is all aluminum (a lot of riveting!!). And it rocks!!
Oops, sorry, I thought I had rotated those pics.

Sweet! How does the lid stay up? Is there a bale?

Very clean build! Cooks solid as a rock too. I love that you can fold the table side down. Great work!

If you paint the frame black it would be a bad ass cooker.

edhead35

Wow that is way cool.

With a K

All new 26ers have a bail. If I painted it black, I would have an even hotter frame to work with and around. AZ cooks do have asbestos type skin, but we reduce the need whenever possible.

Nice Kris!  You always roll with the heavy duty stuff.

Very nice table for a 26er looks like a nice height on it too.. not to low. Being in Arizona my self and being around and working on mirror finish aluminum diamond plate, me and my company have found that lightly scuffing the diamond plate so it is not as shinny helps some from it getting so hot. Drawback is it doesn't look as good lightly scuffed up.

If you don't mind me asking where did you get the wheels from?

Plus lightly scuffing hides future scuffs :D. It is like a patina of sorts.

With a K

I did specifically make it a taller height.  The wheels were refurbished from a very old golf bag cart.
