Just to add, I find my mini-WSM to be my most versatile grill. In addition to smoking a surprising amount of meat, I can leave the water pan out and get a sort of indirect grilling using the top grate. The extra distance to the charcoal makes it a sort of semi-indirect cook which is ideal for things like moinks and ABTs and even if there are flare ups, the flames are far away from the food. It's really surprising since I was never fond of the SJ itself.
