Big Chops

Big Dawg

I found some massive pork chops this week at Publix.  Brined them overnight.  Grilled them indirect and finished on the hot side.



The carrots were tossed with EVOO, S&P, & brown sugar.  They went on the indirect side as soon as I moved the chops to the hot side of the grill.  Finished them off of on the heat after I pulled the chops off to let them rest. 

When carrots came off they and the chops got a nice slathering in a little Balsamic & Honey glaze.  Finished off with little Caprese salad.

The chops turned out great and were very moist.

Those are really big chops! They look great.
The carrots look great too!

Ever had Copper Penny Carrots? Apparently they are an old fashioned dish, but new to me. I'm going to try them this weekend.
Having family over for ribeyes, Hasselbacks and Elotes (but on Genesis II).
I like to try new dishes when I already have a full menu, that way if they are a bust,no big deal. LOL
