Can't always use a Weber and today was a celebration of my family traditions: "Sunday gravy" with homemade sausage and meatballs, made how my dad does and how his mom made it.  Before moving to Indiana, this is what we ate every Sunday at my grandparents.   Can't get good Italian bread like Chicago, unfortunately.  This was more than a meal; it was epitome of family togetherness.

Ah yes, Kellee makes some great gravy or "sugo" as she calls it.  One of my favorites made with her Italian heritage recipes in which nothing is measured.  Enjoy!

Yes.  I do not measure anything.   All repetition and smell.

Just like my Italian grandmother did it and my mother does it.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Damn straight.  Gotta honor those old traditions while we still can !

And I agree 100% about the bread.  I truly miss Sarcone's in So. Phila.
