Hail Storm Smokefire Brisket
« on: June 21, 2023, 09:18:55 PM »
I cooked a brisket for my Dad for Fathers Day and things got a little interesting!

Check out the clip below - It hailed enough that the ice clogged up our eavestroughs and started overflowing :o

Good ole' Costco Brisket Seasoned with some Blues Hog Bold N Beefy

After about 3.5 hours and just prior to butcher paper wrap

I missed the cutting board shots but here it is plated up for the fam

And the staple sides of course...

Hope you all had a good one!

Cheers all. No dents thankfully! They were fairly small pieces of hail just a whole lot of it.

The brisket was excellent! I cannot recommend the Blues Hog Bold N Beefy enough. I use it on pretty much anything beef and its always a winner. It has rendered beef fat as an ingredient, and along with the beef tallow I use to mop and wrap it has a really nice flavor profile.

If you have access to it definitely give it a go!
