Easy Chops on the Summit
« on: March 24, 2023, 10:49:55 AM »
Super easy method, dusted these with Kosmos Q SPG and cooked indirect to IT of 135F then a quick sear over a bed of hot lump charcoal.  Kellee's roasted zucchini with fresh grated parm rounded out the dinner.  Meater+ worked perfectly to monitor ambient and chops temps.  As you can see it was a quick and easy cook!

looks good, chops can go quick for sure, grate for during the week when a quick cook is in order
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

So true.  We usually get a large pack on sale at Publix, cook two and vac seal/freeze the rest for later.  Next time I'll pull these at 125 I think.  They skyrocket when searing.
