Startet with 0 kettles - returned with 2.

The 18' I thought/hoped to be a burgundy and payd via PayPal five days earlier. Then we came to the house and there she was in.... dark brown. The pic shows a little red but in comparison to my brick red or crimson SJ it looks simply brown. Like the darker areas of the brownies here in the Forum. Hmmm. Does anybody know which colour this is?

The blue is a freebee and little more like a rescue. A couple of people came earlier than me but anybody wants her. The lid is quite ok and the handles will restore nicely. But the bowl is heavy crazed and missing the vent thumbscrew and washer. Front leg has been worn out at the triangle hole so I replaced it with a spare one I had.
Don't know what to do with her. We will see. 🙂

Here a couple of pics from different directions for colour comparison to my Prima Donna SJ.

They both look to be crimson to me.  I ordered a "Red" SJ from Spain a couple years back because on the Amazon page it looked to be bright red.  It arrived and it was indeed crimson.  Good part was it had the euro charcoal grate, grease/ash catcher and the plastic charcoal cup.  The grate and ash catcher reside in my Wedgewood blue SJ and I use the cup to scoop out ashes from my daisy wheel kettles.

I'll see if I can find an outdoor picture....these don't get out much.

**EDIT, found an outdoor picture.  I think it looks lighter but yes, far from red.***

Ah ok. You're right. This matches exactly.
