You've been a busy guy.  If you've ever thought about catering now you know what you'd be getting yourself into!
For a short period of time I actually sold sandwiches out of the back of a van I had. It was fun. I also catered one event a few years ago...that too was a blast. My only concern is a have some physical issues....but I'm sure there is a way to work around that. If I stop and think I've done more than a few dinners here and there over the years.....always fun.

I generally enjoy the cooking more than the eating unless it's a juicy burger or a filet mignon.  Fun is the key word!

Those poppers look awesome!

FYI....success! Went very well by all reports. We just cooked and dropped off food into this warmer...others served. But initial reports have been good.

I'm sure it was great. So did you hold everything in the refrigerator and warm up and then brought it to the church or was it warmed up on site. Just curious. That's a lot of food.

Congrats, bbqking01, it all looks good.  Did you use the SmokeFire at all?

bbqking01

I did not use the smoke fire at all.
All the meat, once shredded, and sliced, was bagged in gallon bags. One cooled down.Placed in ice chests with ice. The potatoe salad was also bagged per request. The beans were cooked in roasters. All transported to the church. Meat and beans where transferred to foil pans and placed in warmer. Potato salad went in the fridge and peppers were done in pans and just placed in the warmer also

Very nice job! It's really cool that you got to do that for your church!
I think I might need a bigger backyard soon...

Talked to the guy who was in charge of serving. His words were "The food was SO good!" He said they had plenty of food to feed everyone. They did run out of beans pretty quick(we did our bean recipe X 8. )beans are probably the most requested item by friends and family...but the meat and potato salad lasted and were excellent and everyone loved it.

Is that a peck of peppers? That's a lot. Good work!
