Hello all. I just became a Weber owner this past spring, a premium kettle in the ocean blue color. I’ve owned several kettle grills over the years and yes there is a difference. I’m thoroughly hooked on Weber kettles, I’ve since purchased another premium in green and a Smokey Joe in spring green. I am looking at purchasing a mid-seventies kettle in red, looks to be in decent condition. My question is, we’re there any models that had a hole in the bottom center? From the pictures it looks to be about a one inch hole in the dead center of the bottom. Thanks in advance.

Welcome from Doraville, GA the one touch kettle has a hole center bottom and also three slotted holes like your new kettle, the old 3 wheeler kettles do not have a hole in the center bottom
