Show your Euro leg kettles!

These are my Euro leg kettles, anybody knows why they used another leg design for the euro kettles from '81 to '84?

Hot legs, you're makin' your mark
Hot legs, keep my pencil sharp
Hot legs, keep your hands to yourself
I love you, honey
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
