Any recommendations for a grill brush that won’t remove the carbon seasoning on cast iron?

This is what I use, as I don’t use anything metal to clean my CI grates:

Once there’s a good patina on your grates, just burn off the excess, but I still take them to the sink every now and then and hit them with dawn soap and one of these brushes, only when they are cool, of course.
