Glen Blue Genesis Platinum
« on: March 21, 2021, 04:19:05 PM »
Some of you have likely seen this by now, but I am sure many have not.

This is my latest ground up resto.

Huge thanks to Jeff @ http://www.ipe-porcelain.com/ for doing

the lid redo- much improved from the faded black.  Also, thanks to Charles

Bouchard for the wheel inserts.

Huge thanks to all the restoration guys here that shared tips with me over the
years also. Without the knowledge I have gained here,
work like this would not be possible. Rehabbing grills and doing it the right
way takes a certain appreciation for the craft. Going the extra steps to make
sure you do a top notch job, and produce great value for your customers.
It's not only the x's and o's you guys teach, it's also the way you all spread the
attitude to strive and be better than the average grill hacks that peddle their
sub-par flips.

Very impressive, but not surprised coming from @Dave in KC
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

AHHH!  I just took a peek at St Lou Craigslist - sure enough- there it is.
Looks like the new owner needs to sell for a move.

Awesome work, agree that it’s too nice to cook on. Who has this now?
