Kettle Pizza on a Sunday Afternoon
« on: March 14, 2021, 01:55:53 PM »
Been doing these for over a year and these were the best yet.  Kellee made the dough from scratch and we used pans for the first time.  SO much less stress using pans.  Tried one SS and one non stick with holes in it.  Both worked well, the SS was very easy to spin during the cook.  Margherita for my lady and pepperoni, onion, basil and cheese for me along with garlic butter on the outer circumference.  Threw chunks of apple wood on to keep the flames going.  Also had a couple of sidecars to sip on while the grill was coming up to temp.  Loving this weather!

nice pies, impressed with the sidecar, can't go into many bars and order that and expect them to know how to make it
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

First sidecar I've ever had - wife's idea, she likes to make different and interesting drinks.  Was very tangy!  I'm more of a beer or red wine guy, but like to try a little something new every once in a while.

Great looking pies Greg! Looks like a great time on the big deck.

How did you like the Tillamook mozzarella cheese?

Tillamook is amazing.  We grated up a couple blocks of cheddar too, and it’s the best.  Costs a bit more and SO worth it.

Thanks Greg for the feedback. Bev & I like tillamook cheddar, but have not seen mozzarella at Publix. We will keep an eye out for it. We stock up when cheddar is BOGO.
Cheers
