My First Jalapeño Poppers
« on: January 30, 2021, 04:35:21 PM »
First off, credit to Sam The Cooking Guy on YouTube for the amazing recipe...... Chorizo and cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped peppers.  OMG these were amazing.  Used the slow n sear at 300F for and hour and 15 mins.  You guys gotta see and try this recipe....I made the poppers and my wife made her amazing chili.

Now that looks amazing! Nice plating too. I love pics like this. Two of my favorite things, chili, and poppers

Jalapeno poppers are my favorite grill appetizers.

Chorizo poppers look tasty, so does the chili w/beans. I’ll have to try them with my homemade chorizo, I made a three pound batch yesterday.

Sounds like a great day hanging out with Mrs Bamakettles.

Cheers

This guy is so much fun to watch - his son is his camera man.  Got my rotisserie rib roast method from him as well.

Thanks Robert, was a much needed and earned relaxing day.  This was my first experience with chorizo and I’m a fan for sure.  Cheers to you and Beverly!

We love their show. We just cooked his shrimp scampi a couple nights ago.  Poppers look awesome.

They look delicious! Sam lives nearby and is a local celebrity here in SD. Glad to hear he's popular elsewhere. He just opened two restaurants here recently. Love his videos with Max...just make sure your kids aren't around when he's cooking lol

Thanks so much!  These are definitely a do over.

That's awesome that he's close by....I think the thing I admire most in his videos is the weather you guys have to enjoy cooking in.  Same goes for Ballistic BBQ/Ballistic Burgers too.  It always looks calm and sunny there.

Oh, the kids are now 24+ years old and have certainly heard worse!  His editing is pretty good though with bleeps inserted strategically. ;  )
