Hello from a Chicago area (western) suburbanite.

My days of charcoal grilling at my place of residence are coming to an end.  I had to sell our "his and her" grill because my "her" side grill was a charcoal grill and the townhouse I am moving to does not allow "fire" stuff outside.

I originally started grilling on a small Smokey Joe when I lived with my grandparents.  Then, ex used to do the grilling.  When he was gone, IT WAS MY TURN AGAIN!   ;D

But, I had also inherited from my dad his old charcoal grill.  So now I will be listing it in the for sale section.

Sigh.....super sigh!

Thanks.  I am sad as well.  I checked with my son if he wanted it first before posting here, but he already has his Weber charcoal grill.  (Tradition continues!)

Get yourself a Jumbo Joe or Go Anywhere. Position exhaust vent in bathroom to full open, use some AC ducting to vent the smoke through the bathroom window. Notify neighbors there may be smoke pouring from the interior of the house but not to be alarmed. You can even do some under water sculpting while you grill if necessary!

I've often thought of rigging up an exhaust and grilling in the basement during the winter. Maybe this is the year
