Not a Weber but still kinda cool
« on: October 27, 2020, 01:01:11 PM »
I picked this up today,  Seller found it in the basement of his parents home (the house is 98 yrs old).  NOS Big Boy Grill.  It’s missing the spit but everything else appears to be there.  One of the parts bag is still stalled closed.  I’d be interested to know more about this company/grill if anyone knows more about its history.  Shoutout to @mikeinroseville for the heads up

Awesome find!!!

Big Boy Mfg. was based in Burbank, CA.  I have some older/newer(?) literature:

Looks like you have the equivalent to model ST 70-C

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Nice find! I picked up a green one at yard sale a couple years back. I don’t own it anymore. The person who bought it from me bought it because his grand father used to have one, nostalgia for sure.

Nice find!  I picked a an ST-80 C this summer to part out.  The tray and wheels went to Brian (Zavod) and the hood is eventually going to find its way to BrewtownBeatDown.  I have all the extras (table, working motor, spit, forks, charcoal rake) if you are interested we can work something out.

Nice score Sidney.  Hope to see it if we are ever able to have another WKC get together.
