Found it at a garage sale. Has Wood Dale ILL. on the vent of the lid. It has to be from the 50's, with the metal handle on the lid.

Golly

where is the redhead appreciation thread? I'm new to this stuff
am i supposed to use this grill?, it seems to nice to use?

1buckie

"it seems to nice to use?"

That could very well be a choice.... not to use it at all.....some of the nicer older ones are "Lookers, not Cookers..."

It is up to you, I would probably cook on it carefully a few times & then clean it to the high skies & put in inside as a museum piece.... ;D

Redhed thread is in "Weber Kettles & Accessories "....the same section you're in now, about 5 or 6 posts down currently.....

I think that's the nicest red kettle I have ever laid eyes on! I definitely wouldn't cook on it. Just get another one off of CL for $25. This ones worth much more. Thanks for sharing it and remember to pm Duke if you ever decide to part with it. ;)
