I am making more of a conscious effort to use more of my NIB accessories, and so this GBS insert was a good candidate.  I really love Korean food, and I've found Maangchi's videos and cookbook as a great way to explore this cuisine at home.  For the spicy pork recipe, my wife loosely followed this recipe:  https://youtu.be/3oFCGKmzQX8

I used Thaan charcoal which takes forever to light because it's so dense.  I started with some leftover lump in the bottom of a small chimney to help get the Thaan get going.

"B"lue 18 MBH gets the call, along with 18" Euro GBS grates from Bertl!  Beautiful combination.  We've made this dish a dozen times before on the stove, but there's just something about cooking over open flame that's just so dang delicious.  I'm glad I finally decided to use this accessory.  Look forward to more Korean grilled dishes!

Bonus pics:  I also opened up a vintage squirrel guard a couple weeks ago, apparently this guy didn't get the memo.  Nevertheless it has been fun watching!

Thanks for looking.  Please stay safe.

Looks good. Thanks for the motivation. Need to use some of those collectible accessories I've collected but never used.
