Got this Weber Q 100 on facebook marketplace for free with no grill grates just dirty and rusty. So I did a first cleaning which the picture will show how much more I have to do.
Ordered new grill grates and new burner tube the grill grates are the split kind and this grill came with a solid grate so no place to hold split grate but Weber makes a clip to make up for no placement for split grates.
Going to have a little fun with color I'm going lay down light black base coat, then a good dose of blue finish with a clear coat finally heated to 400 to 450 for a hour to see what I get-lol

Very nice! Reminds me of the first Q I got, same thing, was in rough shape, gas orifice was spider webbed over, so the previous owners used it as a fire pit to burn sticks and trash in. Took a bit of work, but it ran well!
