Couplers are attached through the existing slots in the legs.  The legs remain attached when grill is moved, but easily pulled out of the couplers (No tools required) for travel. (Update:  Legs came loose, so I crimped/ovalled the couplers a bit.  I am going to order some button pins for a permanent solution)
All parts purchased from Home Depot.  Bottom of top lid @ 28 3/4" from ground.
(3) 23 1/4" pieces of 3/4" EMT thin wall conduit P/N 786692413556
(3) 3/4" EMT coupler P/N 051411262822
(9) 1/4" flat washers
(6) 1/4" split lock washers
(3) tapered 15/16" rubber stoppers P/N 887480082388 (super glued into foot end of each piece of EMT)

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Neat idea. Would be fun to pull that out at a picnic. And would be far nicer than the sheetmetal fold up grill we've been using for remote grilling!

What bolts did you use? Did you have to notch out the conduit to get it to go up in the coupler far enough? This is a tempting mod. I left my jumbo Joe out in the rain with the lid off the other day though lol

I used the headed cup point set screws that come with the couplers.  The steel detent couplers that I used prevent the conduit from passing through the center.  I used (1) flat and (1) split lock washer on top side to attach the couplers and (2) flat and (1) split lock washer on the bottom of the coupler.  The second flat washer on the bottom prevents the lower screw from engaging into the conduit, so no need to slot the conduit.  I do not recommend using the Die cast couplers to allow the tube to engage past center, as they are a weaker material and may break and/or you will likely strip the threads when clinching down the lock washers.

I see, the couplers are threaded, that makes a lot more sense to me now. Very nice!

Wife: Let me guess... you want to grill again
