Grey day, grey grills
« on: September 21, 2019, 03:19:54 PM »
Today has been grey all day.
So I figured I should make today's dinner on grey grills.
Lemon pepper salmon on the performer and Black forest speck wrapped asparagus on the grey go anywhere. I  have never heard of the speck before, looks alot like prosciutto but with less sodium.

What’s it gonna take to get that gray CGA to my house?  I have some trade candidates. Let’s make a deal!

Hmmm...I spent hours looking online for a colored CGA. Finally decided black was a color and it would have to do...

Food looks great!

Nice work! I've never heard of speck before either. How did the taste compare to prosciutto?

It was real similar to prosciutto, but it was sliced thinner and a little less salty with a more bacon like smell. Crisped up nicely. Found it at Aldi, looked good and was imported from Germany. Had to try it out. Under $3 for 3 oz. If I remember correctly.
