Throwing myself a 50th Birthday party on Saturday and will be attempting the most complex and intricate cook that I've ever done.

Basic plan is for the party to start at 2 and meat dishes will start coming off the grills/smokers/fryers/cookers at 2:15 or so, with new dishes to follow every 15 to 30 mins. Somewhere between 5 and 6pm, the actual dinner will drop.
I'm shooting for a minimum of 20 different protein dishes/offerings from start to finish.
I'll see if I can talk a couple of folks into taking pictures as I don't think I'll have much time to do so.
FWIW< I am going to kind of cheat a bit and sous vide some of the meats then finish them over some screaming hot coals.
Anyways, the prep work has begun. Detipped and sectioned out a case of wings tonight and picked up an assortment of rubs/seasonings.

Planned dishes.

Injected hot wings
Deep friend hot wings
Deep fried Onion rings (my only "non meat" dish)
Moinks.
Char Sui Pork Belly
Pork Belly Burnt Ends
Picanha
Kalbi
Bulgogi
Baby Backs
Brisket
Teres Major
Tri Tip
Churrasco with Chimichurri
Pork Al Pastor
Marinated London Broil
Oakridge Smoky Chili Lime grilled Salmon
Dizzy Pig's Raging River Maple Butter Crusted Salmon
Ribeyes
Chicken breast of some sort or another.
Might throw in a couple of stuffed pork loins as well.

Anyways, if I survive and have some pics, I'll be sure to post them.

Ask someone to take pics as you progress during the course of the day.  It's going to be epic.

Heheh, that's the plan.   Last year, I did 12 proteins and asked others to take pics.  I only ever saw 4.  Guess folks were too busy chowing down.

Happy B-day and that is one ambitious menu!! I'm thinking a camera crew for a YouTube post.

Make no small plans! I'm sure it'll go well. My 50th's in a couple years, and I can only hope to aspire to this level!
Wife: Let me guess... you want to grill again

I don't think I even know enough people to cook that much in one day! HAHA

Looking good - sure looks like a good time will be had!

Thanks.   Yeah, I'll hopefully get something figured out on the pics.

About 9pm tonight would be great.  That's when the real prepping will start.

Thanks.   Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and start planning now.   At least collecting more cookers so you'll be ready (if you aren't already so).

Thanks.   I come from a large family.   Counting the spouses, I have 16 aunts and uncles still living, and 30 or 40 cousins.    Throw friends in on top and the numbers climb really quick.

This guy is a class act.  If my weekend was free this would be an awesome Birthday Surprise Meet Up!  (Sorry if I ruined it.)  Only one problem...what would you even offer to cook with a menu like that?

Good luck man and Happy Birthday!

Hahhahaha, side dishes ??     :D

Thanks for the kind words.   On the FB event invite that I sent out, I specifically spelled out that I wasn't doing side dishes (even though I will be doing a couple).   And that if anyone wanted one, they'd better bring it themselves.  ;D

Anyways, the "cook" itself started last night with 2 pork butts going into a SV bath, to be followed by a smoke.   Just dropped 2 Brisket flats down for a 30 hour soak as well.
