Hi, I just joined the club but have been a Weber enthusiast for a while now. Just this summer I purchased (and sold) 3 kettles and just purchased a Weber Performer Deluxe (gen 3) for $60. It needed a bit to work but I am almost done restoring it to near new condition.

I also own a 3D printer and have started designing and printing some stuff to use with it. Check out some of my latest designs below.

The first is a handle for the damper and the second one is a tool hook that clips on to the leg of the performer table. I have not figured out how to insert images here yet but hopefully the links above work.

I look forward to sharing my ideas as well as learning more about the WKC.

Cheers,
KP

Welcome from Doraville,Ga. 3d printers sound like fun
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Ive asked here before if anyone knew how to use a 3d printer, do you think you could make replacement white walls for the wheels? They would be cool printed in different colors of plastic. If you make one, I have access to a 3d printer at the local library.

And btw, welcome from Topeka kansas

KP, that's cool. What kind of printer are you using? I've got a couple of MakerBot printers in the studio. I'm brand new to the group, too.

Welcome from just outside Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

Welcome from Highland Park, IL (north of Chicago)! Sweet mod for the performer! I'm sure you'll find ways to mod other parts - people here love that stuff.
Wife: Let me guess... you want to grill again

Should be easy to make, basically a donut shaped disc? Send me the dimensions, I sold my classic kettle when I got a performer so I can't get the measurements myself. I still love the looks of the 3-leg stand design but just don't have the room for it.

I will make an attempt. I had a caliper, but Idk where I put it
