Max’s First Dove Hunt

Took my 14 year old son on his first dove hunt today, he was able to take one down and I walked away with a smile. Apparently he can’t run with the big dogs though, fell asleep on the drive home. We’re making bacon wrapped cream cheese and dove stuffed jalapeño poppers

Funny I had just searched for some squirrel recipes the other day on a whim.  Got a good chuckle when one of the recipes  referenced “Limb Chicken.” 
I hadn’t heard that one before.
