Counting our Blessings

We were awoken Sunday around 12 am to a fully engulfed deck. Thankful for the neighbors and a 6 minute response from our fire department. No damage to our house at all. The deck is a total loss. We will rebuild and will be ever thankful that we are around to do so. Remember to always count your blessings .

Glad it was contained to the deck only!  Glad the house and everyone is ok.

The deck can always be rebuilt/replaced. The safety of you and your family is the #1 priority and you have awesome neighbors! Rumor has it, that you're a legend in your own time amongst the WKC family. So, we can't afford to lose you, Joe!

I never grill on the deck, I did grill earlier but on the lower patio where I always cook

... not the safest way to demo the deck for an upgrade but it seems to have worked. All jokes aside so happy to here you and Tami are ok, your neighbors and the fire department are awesome.
