Hello everyone, talking to several friends who own the Weber Master Touch Premium E-5775, many have complained that the lid does not close perfectly, leaving it slightly open on the opposite side to the hinge, allowing smoke and heat to escape.

After several attempts to adjust the hinge looking for the perfect position to have better adherence and to prevent smoke and heat from escaping from the edge of the lid a friend of mine Riccardo Pedretti has come to the conclusion that if the springs are moved to the lower part the grip becomes  perfect.

We advise you to pay close attention to carrying out the operation, to also use gloves to protect your hands and possibly to move the damage in two to avoid damage to things and people.

No liability is accepted.
