I recently found this forum after looking up some ideas to make a table for my Webber Kettle 22" that my sister gave me. I was looking to get a Kamado, but I after finding this forum and mods I decided to mod my kettle first. I just picked up a lime green performer in beat up condition for $40 the other day. It has some rust spots on the top that I will need to figure how to clean up as well as dirt inside the bowl and the ash catcher. It came with a empty gas tank and the gas line. I bought it to put my black kettle in it as I wanted a table for it. It needs some TLC before I do that. I would like to do the stock pot mod. I will post some pictures of them once I figure how.

Welcome to the club!!!
Greetings from Greendale, WI. Modding a kettle can be quite rewarding, especially when it exceeds your original vision. Good luck...and post some finished pics.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).
Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward. I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still. Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞
