Started cooking it indirect at the top rack.

Direct at the top rack.

Seared at the lower rack.

Turned out excellent.  No more prime ribs for me as i prefer the flavor profile of tri tip.

Tri tip has become one of my favorite cuts of beef.  Looks great!!!!

Who needs vegetables anyway...
The rest of the household takes care of the vegetables as they rarely eat any meat products more than once a week. Vegetables area overrated. I'll stick with meats and fruits.

I was waiting for you but you didn't show up. I'll have to finish all of it by myself. Sandwich for work lunch on the next couple days.

I love Tri tip. Alas it's rarely available in my area, and when it is, it's expensive.
