Quick Thursday lunch.

Last cook for Ivory before she goes to  her fall/winter hibernation. Wings for me and grilled balsamic brussel sprouts for the family...everyone's having a happy Thursday. No vortex or poortex for me, just a regular charcoal basket.

Looks great. What are we looking at in the third picture?  Looks like it was so hot it turned all the drippings to ash?

I always fill the drip pan with ashes for easy cleam up. Also prevents oil drippings from smoking. More of a kitty litter style.
