Football and teriyaki wings
« on: October 07, 2018, 02:10:00 PM »
Cooked some teriyaki wings right before the Eagles game. They were marinated in soy, Brown sugar, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, onion, cilantro and sesame oil. Two zone set up seared then moved off the coals. Cooked at 550 for about 30 minutes. Reduced  the marinade and glazed 10 minutes before coming off the grill.

Those look really good! Big fan of sesame oil lately.  Sesame oil, mirin, soy, sugar, and korean red pepper is my favorite salad dressing.

Those look absolutely perfect!  Some great flavors you had going on too. How long in the marinade and do you go straight from marinade to grill?

Thanks. They were in the marinade for about 6 hours. I took them out of the fridge an hour before grilling. They went great with beer.
