Meatloaf!
« on: September 30, 2018, 02:17:12 PM »
Despite grilling for hours yesterday, my wife asked for meatloaf today and I was happy to oblige. This recipe is a really good one.

My wife's blue got a real workout yesterday, so why not keep it rolling? FYI - used a Marty Basket with a layer of unlit covered with three quarters of a small chimney of lit, and three peachwood chunks. Temp was around 425 at the top thermo. Takes about an hour and fifteen to get to 160. Good stuff!

I love meatloaf! I've made this with half chorizo and it's great that way too. What's your favorite style?

Delicious! I've only done meatloaf once but I've been wanting to do it again. I used that same recipe but mine didn't look as good as yours!

Looks excellent, always good to find another recipe for meatloaf. Thanks for the pointer. The one I've used in the past is the Smoked Meatloaf recipe on the Thermoworks website. I'll have to give this one a try using the Saltines. The Thermoworks recipe used Potato Chips.
