Howdy folks. Long time die-hard charcoal/Weber guy here.

My grill (10 year-old "original kettle 22") was ripped off from my driveway the night before Independance Day. I have video of the incident on YouTube, but I don't see that I can embed the video here. But that's not what I'm here about anyway.

Late last night I finished setting up my new grill (Master Touch 22") and then started watching YT videos about cleaning methods and possible mods (building it into a table/cart) and that led me to you folks here. Hoping to take my knowledge/skills up a notch.

Hello and welcome to the WKC from Eugene, Oregon.  Maybe look at it this way, everyone seems to just know that a Weber Kettle is worth the time in jail when they get caught !!!

Welcome to WKC. That sucks about your stolen Weber. Grill on, brother. Better days ahead.

FWIW, I *think* that if you just paste the YouTube URL into the body of a post, the forum will automatically render it as a clickable link, if not video that plays in the page.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Mike in Roseville

You came to the right place.

Welcome.

Welcome from Wisconsin.  Thievery sucks. Some young people tried to take my SJ from behind the house, but some neighbors saw them, chased them down, and got it back.  Everything lives inside now.
