So we are selling our house and moving to a larger one just down the street. With that said, every time there is a realtor, appraiser, exterminator, etc., who comes to our current home always comments on the amount of kettles I have. They always ask the same standard question:

“Why so many?”

My response is always, “Because I can. Some people collect stamps, some collect cars. I collect webers.”

I always get a chuckle from their expressions, especially when I tell them about the club and how my collection is small compared to many here. Happy grilling everyone. I hope you also got a chuckle from this experience.

I do.

There are only a few common hobbies and ways to spend money that *everyone* recognizes, and the rest are considered eccentric.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I just recently had may house appraised and the appraiser opened the door to the Weber room and said laughingly " I am going to assume this is the 4th bedroom" I said yes this is where some of my Webers sleep. LOL
