Evacuee Cabin Burgers
« on: April 29, 2018, 07:46:30 PM »
Hey all.  We had an explosion and ensuing fire at the local oil refinery last Thursday.  Some of you may have seen it in the news.  The cops were going door to door, telling everybody in my area to get out.  I had a few days off, so decided to avoid the asphalt smoke and boogie up to the cabin north of Duluth.  Just cheese burgers and buttered toasted buns, but it was tasty.  Things are back to normal, now.

:) I wish I had a cabin too. I'd be living in it! Butt, we do get to escape twice a year and rent one:

Indian River Inlet cottages, Rehoboth Beach, DE...

BTW, burgers look GOOOOD!

That looks awesome! We want to make it out to Cape May someday as a family member offered us a free week in her beachside cottage as a wedding gift. But that was 5 years ago...... hopefully the offer still stands.

Its a great place to get away from the rat race, especially during the winter months.

The majority of the smoke went south into the rural areas.  Due to the toxicity of the asphalt smoke fallout, scientists are urging residents not to plant vegetables this year as far as 30 miles south of Superior and 5 miles to either side.
