Since I knew I would be headed out to PA for opening day of trout season on Saturday, I decided to switch up my usual search radius and nearly wet myself when I saw this picture on offerup:
After several gutwrenching hours of waiting to hear from the seller, he finally responded at about 3:00, so off I went. I'm happy to say, the grill looked better in person than in the ad. The lid has been abused, but the bowl is in fantastic shape. The leg sockets are solid. All of the bowl vents work--and even have all of the little stop tabs. It came with the grates and charcoal rails, but not the ash pan. The legs were held in place with through bolts. I spent most of today cleaning her up. Here it is on temporary legs while I work on the real legs and triangle.
The bowl cleaned up real nice and revealed some massive glen blue overspray.
Some before and after pics:
More work to be done, but we're off to a good start.
