First ribs of the season.
« on: March 26, 2018, 05:11:26 PM »
Been a while since I did ribs. Normally I like to do St. Louis ribs, but store had buy 1 get 1 free back ribs.
Never had these before. Lots of meat. Had a pork chop taste to the meat.
Added some portabella mushroom caps on the side.

Very cool. I like that rib holder. I prefer St. Louis style also but I like back ribs almost as well.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Pork chop taste probably comes from the fact that these are back ribs...aka loin ribs...

As meaty as those babies are they had plenty of loin on 'em...
