Last one guys.
First...full disclosure.  The grill had some rim rash that was typical of a grill that had been abused.  I hit the chips with the same 2000 degree primer.  I followed that up with a high temp yellow.  The match was pretty good.

Jeff what brand of high heat spray paint did you use?

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Amazing work Jeff! I'm not sure that I would have to patients to take on such a task.

Be careful with  leaving it in primer. I'm far from a painter, but my understanding is that primer will absorb moister (hence making paint adhere) and could cause additional rust.  If it's going to live inside you're probable fine, but it might be problematic for an outdoor grill.

Now that you mention it, I've heard that before.  Giving me ideas, maybe it needs to have a high temp yellow to maintain the bowl long term.  Thanks for the tip.

I thought it looked pretty sharp yellow & crazy black.
