Lawry's Garlic Salt anyone?
« on: November 15, 2017, 07:35:15 PM »
Not sure about any of you others but Lawry's has been in my arsenal since i first started grilling. Not sure why but I seem to get more compliments when i use that than almost any other seasoning. Beef, chicken, salmon, etc. It never ceases to amaze even me. I am reminded of this just tonight since i was in a pinch and threw a couple of steaks on the CGA. Not that I season steak with much anyway but tonight it was just the Lawry's with some fresh cracked pepper. Amazing every time. Looking at the ingredients of the Killer Hogs AP rub, it looks very similar.

It was the main seasoning of my childhood. Good stuff.

Grandparents had it , parents had it, I have it. Can't beat it with a stick.

Lawry's Garlic Salt has long been a mainstay of the tri-tip, beans, garlic bread, and salad crowd in central California.
