Weber Q Rack and Shield Discontinued

I just learned that Weber has discontinued the sale of the Roasting Rack and Roasting Shield for sale in the U.S. Someone has a you tube video on this.

The roasting rack is really nice but I always used aluminum foil for a heat deflector.

Wondering if a "more regular" (taller) rack could be used with the 1200 since it has a higher-domed lid.

Probably, or some other trivet. I have both the small and large and they are good quality. Sometimes I grill directly on them. Hard to believe they will not sell in the USA anymore. The aluminum shields were nice also but you can replicate as shown in the video at a much lower cost.
