Mrs. Java picked up some German Brats, mustard and Artisan Bread from Sprouts.

I sliced up 2 potatoes and packed em in the #3 Griswold Cast Iron skillet.  I added some butter, onion salt and cheddar cheese.

Fired up some Kingsford w/ Mesquite and warmed up the 1980 Red Master Touch.

The kettle did get darker as it warmed up.

Put the skillet of potatoes on 15-20 mins before the brats. Set the skillet in the back away from any direct heat.

My first try at this type of taters.  Wish I had an onion to separate the potato slices.

All the heavy hitters under the new lights.

About ready to pull everyone from the fire.

Here's another shot of everyone under the new lights.

Everyone liked the results .  Sorry no shots of the plated food.  No leftovers either.
