Huge success, I made about 100 wings, 75 moink balls, the weber recipe homemade mac & cheese I took to the STL meat up, and vegetarian sliders and vegetation corn dogs. Plus whatever the other folks brought, and feed well over 100 people! What a workout for the trifecta and a blast to see so many empty pans of food at the end of the day.  On top of it, my daughter received her 2017 Division 2 National Champion Ring for the competition dance team, the Lionettes! That SOB is as big as a Super Bowl ring.

Tailgating is on my bucket list when I visit the states one day. Sounds like the same vibe as a South African braai.

You are correct! It's a celebration involving friends, family, and strangers that become new friends usually associated with (American) football. The food that is served is a wide variety of grilled or smoked meat, as well as clever side dishes and desserts. And beer. If you ever find yourself in St. Louis the WKC STL Q Crew will show you how it's done!
