Gonna do a couple pork butts this weekend and was curious where everybody goes to buy them. I usually go to SAMS club but out membership expired. We decided to give Costco a shot this time, but there butts are boneless and I'm not sure about them. Anybody recommend a good place to go? Or are the Costco boneless ok? Thanks for any info

The last few bone in butts we have bought at Food Depot and have been very pleased if you have those near you?

I get mine at Jewel, the Chicago grocery chain associated with Albertson's.

Usually they are Hormel brand, 99cents a pound.

Usually GFS for me. My next one will be from ALDI.

Yeah Costco only has boneless.

For bone-in butts in Northern California, I usually go to Safeway or SaveMart. Occasionally, Raley's.

They are almost always Farmer John.

I get them from costco occasionally.  You get 2 of them in a pack.  You will have to tie them a little sometimes.

I get my bone in from sams and my boneless from aldi when I use the rotisserie. I would try gfs if I didn't have a sams club membership. Their prices are good for butts and brisket.

Local butcher shop here. I didn't know Costco only had boneless. I'll have to check our area next time I'm there. I'd want the bone in too. Well, you know what I mean, I don't want the bone, but I want my butt to have the bone... oh, never mind..

Unless one of the supermarket's is having a big sale, I go to Restaurant Depot or Chef'Store (US Foods).
