Corned Beef on the grill
« on: August 27, 2017, 01:11:59 PM »
Here's my take on corned beef on the kettle. Got the grill very hot and seared   it on all sides. Placed it in a cast iron stock pot. Add the  pre-packed spices, can of beer and 1/2 can of water.  Put  the cover on and let it simmer  at 300F for 3 hrs.  Done.

Thanks. I usually smoke it for 1 hr  at 225F before searing it but was short on time so i skipped that portion. Still turned out pretty good though.

Looks good! I love making reubens. Would be even better with homemade corned beef.
