The more I use my 18 the more I love it. Got the 22 also , but hardly ever use it now. Smoked wings in the 18 for the first time. Got 5 lbs at Costco pre rubbed with a garlic pepper sauce . Took the bottom grate and water bowl out and let her rip. Held 300 like a champ with some cherry wood.  Total cook 50 minutes and last 10 minutes hit half with a teriyaki sauce. That smell of the wing grease hitting the coals was heavenly.

Whoa mama those look great!

I have always been a little hesitant to try wings on my 18 WSM...but now I'm all in. I've got to try it.

@wessonjb

I'm with you about loving te 18WSM more and more. I thought after last week I could use the 26" for everything and possibly cut loose of the 18WSM...nope. The second brisket on the WSM was fantastic.

Going to have to try wings in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for sharing and the inspiration!

Lit one full chimney and poured on top of a chimney mixed with coals from my last cook. Held 300 with vents wide open with ease . 26 is my next grill purchase next month . Don't need but I want it lol
