First cowboy ribeye

My buddy @rookiekettler gave me his old maverick and I'm trying it out on a ribeye. Just the wife and I so should be enough steak for the 2 of us. It's 3 lbs. salt pepper and a little cayenne

Above 400 the maverick read hhh on the grate temp. I guess it's not designed for high heat cooks.

It's funny because the pictures make it look small. We didn't come close to finishing this ribeye. It was great. I'm calling this one a success.
