Camping is a sacred time when I only allow myself the use of a tripod and pie irons. Kettles and charcoal are dead to me on a trip.

That shrimp DOES sound delish. Only thing that could possibly make it better is a little Old Bay.

@Mr.CPHo , i just took a look at that thread.  very nice.  cloudland canyon is about 30 minutes from my house.  it is beautiful up there.
I like my Kettles like my coffee....strong and black.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Sounds like @stev is an Eastern Shore imposter! I grew up in Wisconsin (Menomonie) and never heard of the stuff until I moved to Maryland. Old Bay makes everything better!  8)

Personally, I really enjoyed using a BioLite. Used to always bring a propane stove with me whenever I'd go backpacking. My oldest brother ended up getting me a BioLite to charge up my stuff while I'm out there. (I have like two solar charger and they suck) definitely makes it easy to cook, and even easier to boil water.
Definitely recommend you check this out: http://thesurvivaljournal.com/biolite-campstove-review/

However, whenever I'm camping, I prefer to boil water and find some natural material for teas. I also recommend you bring packets of sugar. Tea is the bomb!!
