Weber 3000 Refurb

Bought this gasser on offerup for $50. Popping my cherry, as this is my first time restoring a grill. Any suggestions welcome. Looking to chip away at this project while the wheater is nice. Its been a long winter here in Chicago! Will post more pics as I move forward.

 Very nice! I'm just about finished with a Gen 1000 restore, and having a blast doing it. Keep us posted with progress and part needs....

RCplane buyer on Ebay for solid rod grates and flavor bars.  Then for the most part the rest is elbow grease really

the bolt on the left side that holds the firebox to the frame is a real pain hopefully you can break it but you will have to get creative then please replace with SS

try not to remove the screws holding the burner tubes down if you can get away with it.  They are such solid cookers I pick the m up every chance I get

Final product guys.  Im missing the side swing tables. Anybody know where I can find?

The table with the wood slats? If so, I might have one. Happy to check when I get home this evening.
