I've read that some rechargeable batteries have short nipples and cause a poor connection in the PartyQ.
Before ordering batteries, does anyone have experience with this?

What a question: I've never had a problem with short nipples (or medium length nipples, or long nipples) or any ... well you get the idea. Pardon the digression, but I'm under medication after having a tooth pulled today

I modified my PartyQ to run off USB or 120v. I couldn't trust the batteries on long or overnight smokes. Especially during cold weather.
