How does a wsm do in the rain?  I haven't tried it yet. The kettles do fine but I wasn't sure about the wsm. Looks like water would get in.

@HoosierKettle I little bit of water got in and definitely cooled it down. I was lucky enough to get back home in time and get the canopy back over it. I did lose the rest of my charcoal though!

I'm really glad that the canopy didn't knock over the WSM and set fire to your deck.

I would locate the cooker far away from anything that could burn, but that's probably because I used to serve on a local fire department and got to see what can happen. :o
kettles, smokers...
